1.e4 {(0:00)} e5 {(0:00)
SamuraiGoroh(1761) whispers: First TL game in a very long game, maybe 3 years XD }
2.Nf3 {(0:19)} Nc6 {(0:10)
SamuraiGoroh(1761) whispers: Good that he's playing king's pawn opening, is the one I've played most and the one I should remember best XD
SamuraiGoroh(1761) whispers: Just have to decide how should I have to play, whether try to be cautious or aggressive...
SamuraiGoroh(1761) whispers: But since I prefer to play aggressive, I'll likely go with d4 here }
3.d4 {(2:27)} exd4 {(0:20)} 4.Nxd4 {(0:02)} Nf6 {(0:59)

SamuraiGoroh(1761) whispers: Mmm, I didn't quite wanted to play by trading pieces but it might go that way }
7.Bd2 {(0:45)
SamuraiGoroh(1761) whispers: If he trades bishops, then I might consider castling long, or at least having the option open there
KRMCHESS(2021) whispers: Actually this opening line often transposes to a drawn position with correct play. Having said that with incorrect play it's easier for black to go astray }
7...Bc5 {(7:30)
SamuraiGoroh(1761) whispers: so, he didn't traded at the end... }

11.Qf3 {(2:52)
SamuraiGoroh(1761) whispers: pawn @c6 is weak, so I might get it }
11...Ne7 {(1:40)
SamuraiGoroh(1761) whispers: Almost though b4 would get his bishop, but he has Bd4...
SamuraiGoroh(1761) whispers: My bishop pair is dangerous if he castle kingside, so maybe "ignoring" my e5 pawn allow me for some dirty tricks, just not yet
SamuraiGoroh(1761) whispers: e6 looks interesting, but I'm afraid I'm pushing my pawn to far... }
12.Bg5 {(10:55)
SamuraiGoroh(1761) whispers: I feel this 12th move was very important, but not sure if I made the correct one :P }

18.Bb7 {(0:06)} O-O {(0:14)} 19.Rab1 {(0:08)} Bxe5 {(1:18)
SamuraiGoroh(1761) whispers: Bxc6 looks tempting, but is wrong, as black has Qxd6 followed by Bxh2+ }
20.Bxa8 {(1:20)} Rxa8 {(1:22)} 21.dxc7 {(0:21)} Bxc7 {(1:30)
SamuraiGoroh(1761) whispers: I though he would play Qc7, but is fine with me }

SamuraiGoroh(1761) whispers: Rb7 followed by Rdd7 if he moves his bishop away }
24...Qa2 {(4:30)
SamuraiGoroh(1761) whispers: Did he missed Qxc6
SamuraiGoroh(1761) whispers: or do I miss something?
SamuraiGoroh(1761) whispers: I see Qxf2+ }
25.Rbc1 {(4:29)
SamuraiGoroh(1761) whispers: Rc7 is strong if he lets me play it
SamuraiGoroh(1761) whispers: as he can't play Bxc7 because of Qxa8+ with a mate

29.Qf3 {(6:38)} Qe4 {(3:07)

{Miltie resigns} 1-0
samuraigoroh (2015-04-11): if Kd5 was played, is there a name for the mate after Qxe6# ? It resembles the Swallow's tail, but pieces are inverted (the form is also of a Y but the color of the pieces are opposite). I thought it had a name, but is not mentioned on the book I have nor here, so I wonder if it has a name or not: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Checkmate_pattern
